Lilo: Baby Solids Tracker
Effective 1 September 2026
BitFlow Labs ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our app, Lilo: Baby Solids Tracker ("Lilo" or the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Lilo is designed to be private by default. We do not operate accounts, we do not run analytics, and we do not collect your data on our own servers. Everything you record about your child stays on your device and in your personal iCloud.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information on our servers. Lilo has no sign-up, no login, and no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs. The App makes no network requests to us.
The App does work with the following data, which stays under your control:
- Feeding and health records you enter — meals and their ingredients, quantities, reactions and their severity, water and stool entries, your food pantry, and your plan progress. This is stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced through your own private iCloud account.
- Photos you attach (optional) — if you add a photo to a reaction, it is stored alongside that record on your device and in your private iCloud. Photos are never uploaded to us.
- Shared records (optional) — if you invite a second parent or caregiver, the records you share are synced between your devices through Apple's CloudKit sharing. Sharing is initiated by you and can be revoked by you at any time.
Because Lilo is used to record information about a child, we have deliberately built it so that this information never reaches us or any third party.
2. How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used solely to provide the App's functionality on your device: to guide you through the food-introduction plan, keep your log and pantry, show patterns in reactions, and — where you enable it — sync via iCloud and share with the person you invite. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information, because we do not receive it. Specifically:
- iCloud sync is handled by Apple under Apple's terms and stored in your private iCloud database. We cannot access it.
- Records shared with a second parent are transmitted through Apple's CloudKit sharing, at your direction, to the person you invite.
- Exported CSV files are written wherever you choose to send them — for example, to your pediatrician. Once exported, that file is outside the App and under your control.
- We may disclose information only if required by law — but as noted, we do not hold your personal data to disclose.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your records are stored locally on your device and, when enabled, in your private iCloud (encrypted and managed by Apple). While we take reasonable measures to protect data handled by the App, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you use the App at your own risk.
5. Children's Privacy
Lilo is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. The App is used to record information about an infant, entered by an adult. That information is never transmitted to us, is not used for advertising or profiling, and is not shared with any third party. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You remain in control of your data at all times:
- Export your full log as a CSV file at any time from Settings.
- Delete records in the App, or remove the App to delete its local data.
- Manage or remove iCloud data through your device's iCloud settings.
- Stop sharing with a second parent at any time.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the right to access, correct, or delete personal data). Because we do not hold your personal data, these requests are fulfilled directly on your device.
7. Medical Disclaimer
Lilo is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. The food-introduction plan it presents is general guidance and is not a substitute for your pediatrician. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your child's diet, allergies, and any reaction you observe.
8. Third-Party Links
The App may reference third-party services (for example, Apple iCloud). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
